The Golden Route: Lucerne - Interlaken - Montreux

Day 01 :
Arrival in Lucerne by train 1st class from the Swiss border or any Swiss airport. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 02 :
Full day at leisure. We suggest an excursion by boat and cogwheel train to Mount Rigi or by the revolving gondola to Mount Titlis. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 03 :
From Lucerne over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken by Golden-Pass train Panoramic Brünig. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 04 :
Full day at leisure. We suggest an excursion to the Jungfraujoch the highest train station in Europe (Top of Europe). Impressive views of snow-capped peaks and the Aletsch Glacier, which extends for 22km and is the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 05 :
Trip by train to Zweisimmen (depending on the train schedule with the "Saloon Blue GoldenPass Panoramic BLS train"). Change to the GoldenPass Panoramic MOB train for the rest of the days memorable trip to Montreux. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 06 :
Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.

Day 01 : Geneva/Montreux/Lausanne
Arrival in Geneva by train 2nd class from any Swiss border or airport. Discover the city's 2000 years of history and culture. Stroll along the lake and parks, through the lovely Old-Town or the well-stocked shopping district. Visit Geneva's international scene, including the European Headquarters of the United Nations, the Red Cross Crescent Museum or join an optional sightseeing tour to the genevan countryside or neighbouring France on your own. Visit the Olympic Capital Capital and its unique Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Vevey and Nestle's food Museum or Montreux and its famous Chillon Castle on your own. Overnight in Geneva, Montreux or Lausanne.
Day 02 : Geneva/Montreux/Lausanne
Enjoy a full day at leisure to take advantage of numerous excursion possibilities in the Lake Geneva region. Transfer by train to Lausanne or Montreux. Overnight in Geneva, Lausanne or Montreux.
Day 03 : CransMontana /Leukerbad/Saas Fee/Zermatt
Lake Geneva Region - Matterhorn Region.
Today you take the train to the Rhone Plain and the canton of Valais to either Crans Montana, Leukerbad, Saas-Fee or Zermatt. Overnight in one of the chosen location.
Day 04 : CransMontana /Leukerbad/Saas Fee/Zermatt
Today on your own, discover the Swiss Alps, take a cable car to the eternal snow or visit the world's biggest ice pavillion (Mittelallalin / Saas-Fee). Hike through unspoilt nature, play golf, ski down the slopes or just relax in one of the Spas. Overnight in one of the chosen location.
Day 05 : End of Tour
Departure to a Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland on your own.
