Santa Claus Adventure at Lapland: (4 Nights / 5 Days)

Visit his village, which includes Santa Claus’ Office and Santa Claus’ Main Post Office as well as the reindeer park and Santa Park nearby. All family members will be able to join in all the activities, from meeting Santa to Reindeer driving, Dog sledding and snowmobiling. Visit an original reindeer herder, learn about the culture and traditions of the indigenous Sámi people, and receive your reindeer driving license. Visit the Husky farm where you get instructions on the training and driving. Enjoy the snowmobile safari to Katkavaara, in the beautiful arctic hills.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01 : Rovaniemi
Arrival Transfer from Rovaniemi Airport/Train Station. Check in Hotel, Have a Finnish sauna and enjoy dinner and at Hotel.

Day 02 : Reindeer & Husky Safari
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we visit an original reindeer ranch, sit on a sledge and steer a reindeer. The reindeer herder explains everything about reindeer herding as a profession and he gives us our reindeer driving licences. Coffee in a big tepee. Enjoy a husky safari in the snowy forest, learn how to drive the dogs and visit in a husky-farm. Enjoy a Sauna and Dinner.

Day 03 : Santa Village
Breakfast at Hotel, Today we visit Santa’s village, Santa’s post office and Arktikum museum in Rovaniemi. We cross the Arctic circle and get the certificate. In the Santa’s post office we can send our cards with special Santa stamps. Possibility to buy souvenirs and meet Santa himself in his office. In Arktikum museum we can find a presentation of Lapp culture and the whole arctic world. Sight seeing in Rovaniemi – the capital of Lapland. Sauna and then dinner.

Day 04 : Snowmobile Safari
Breakfast at the hotel. We take a snowmobile trip to the summit of Kätkävaara arctic hill. Learn to recognise the tracks of wild animals - reindeers, hares, foxes, lynxes, birds and moose. Good opportunities for taking photos and seeing very beautiful view. Make some coffee in a tepee made of logs. Sauna and dinner.

Day 05
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free until departure transfer to the airport or train station.
