Penang Bridge
Tourists visiting Malaysia should not miss Penang Bridge. It is the largest bridge in Asia and third largest in the world.It connects the two parts of Penang state spanning the water dividing Penang Island from the mainland. The fantastic views of the Straits of Malacca and the coastline of both the mainland and the island left me speechless.

Botanical Gardens
There are botanical gardens worth exploring in Penang. The botanical garden at the foot of Penang hill is amazing. The garden is spread in the 30 hectares. There is a large population of the cheeky long tailed macaque and dusky leafed monkeys.

Butterfly Farm
Butterfly Farm forms a distinct attraction of Malaysia. Set in lush gardens with a bubbling mud pool, the farm provides a lifetime chance to see more than 120 different species of butterflies. Not only this, visitors can view countless tropical insects, spiders, lizards, frogs, snakes in the farm.

Hawker Stalls
The open air Hawker Stall is the ideal place for a gourmet like me to taste various delicacies. The Penang specialty, Laksa is the hottest selling item there. People also enjoying noodles in spicy sour soup garnished with cucumber, lettuce, pineapple and onion.

The place offers the best of Malay, Chinese and Indian food.
