» Holiday Package-001 : Bhutan (3 Nights/ 4 Days)
Day 01 : Arrive Paro
Meeting & assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.
Day 02 : Paro / Thimphu (55 km, 2 hours)
Morning visit Drukgyel Dzong (dzong = fortress/monastery), the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasion by Tibetan armies. On a clear day, there is splendid view of Mt. Chomolhari from the approach road to this Dzong. Later visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, the fortress which has a long and fascinating history. Afternoon drive to Thimphu. Overnight Hotel Motithang or similar, Thimphu.
Day 03 : Thimphu / Paro
Morning visit to; National Library, School of Arts & Crafts and Textile & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Handicrafts Emporium, Memorial Chorten (stupa) and Nunnery. In the evening drive back to Paro. Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.
Day 04 : Depart Paro
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Moring visit National Library, Arts & Crafts School, Textile & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit to Anim Dratshang (nunnery), Handmade paper factory, Thimphu view point, Handicrafts Emporium and Memorial Chorten. Overnight Hotel Motithang or similar, Thimphu.
Day 04 : Thimphu - Dochula pass - Paro (80 km, 3 hours)
Morning drive to Dochula pass (3,080m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Later drive to Paro en route visiting Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom which now houses the school for religious and cultural studies. Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.
Day 05 : Depart Paro
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.

Services Included:
AP (American Plan) -
airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, all meals (bed tea, breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening tea), sightseeing as per itinerary, guide, entrances.
MAP (Modified American Plan) -
airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, meals (bed tea, breakfast, evening tea, dinner), sightseeing as per itinerary, guide, entrances.
CP (Continental Plan) -
airport transfers, accommodation on twin sharing basis, sightseeing as per itinerary, entrance.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The above packages are valid till 31 Mar 2009.
2. The above packages are inclusive of all local taxes applicable in Bhutan.
3. Packages will be valid for Hotel Olathnag in Paro, Hotel Motithang in Thimpu, Hotel Zangthopelri in Punakha, Sherubling Lodge in Trangsa, Wangdichholing Lodge in Bhumthang and Hotel Namgay in Phuentsholing. Incase of non-availbility of rooms in these hotels, the accommodation would be provided in alternate similar standard hotles.
4. Single room supplement of Rs. 1100.00 per person per night will be levied on request for a single room. This will not be levied in case of odd member in a group.
5. Additional charges will apply for extra facilities and additional sightseeing not included in the package.
6. Tariff for Children
3 Years and below: Free
4 - 7 Years: 25%
8 - 12 Years: 50%
Note :
Ta Dzong (National Museum) is closed on Mondays and National Holidays. Its opening time is Tue - Sat: 9 am to 4 pm and Sun: 11 am to 4 p.m. Entrance fees Rs. 50/ per person.
School of Arts & Crafts visit possible in afternoon 2 - 4 pm (Mon-Fri) and 9-12 am (Sat). It is closed in winter from 17 Dec till 10 Mar. Entrance fees Rs. 50/ per person.
Guide charges would be Rs. 800/- per day for CP package.
The above itinerary is subject to change for convenience of applying route permit for Dochula Pass.
Visit to Dochula pass not possible for tourists visiting during weekends (Fri to Mon).
